LLMGRAPH Beta Software Licence

Last updated 2026-10-26

Last updated: 26 October 2026

1. Parties and what this covers

This licence is between Brainfoods Studio, a sole proprietorship in Jaipur, India ("we"; details on the Legal page), and you, the individual who installs or uses the LLMGRAPH program ("the Software"). It covers the Software only. The website, accounts and billing are covered by the Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy and the Refund and Cancellation Policy. By approving a device, or by installing or using the Software, you accept this licence.

2. The licence

While you have an active trial or subscription, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and run the Software on up to the number of devices your plan allows, for your own software development work. The beta plan allows 2 devices. The Software is licensed, not sold. We keep every right not granted here.

3. What you may not do

  • Share, sell, rent or sublicense the Software or your licence.
  • Remove or bypass the licence check, the integrity check or the device limit.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble the Software, except where the law of your country allows it despite this term.
  • Use the Software to break the law, or in any program that is malicious or deceptive.
  • Use the Software's answers to build a product that competes with it.

4. The beta

The Software is a beta. It may change, have errors, or stop. Answers describe what the Software can and cannot see in your code, and label it (certain, exactly_these, within_these, maybe_more, cannot_see). They do not replace your own review.

5. Your code

The Software reads your code on your computer. It never runs, imports or builds your code. The bundled type checkers may start your project's own interpreter to find installed packages. What the Software sends to us is described on the Privacy Policy. Your code remains yours, and we claim no rights in it.

6. Licence checks and telemetry

The Software checks its licence with our licence service about every 30 minutes and holds a licence for up to 6 hours. Offline, it keeps working until that licence ends. The telemetry described on the Privacy Policy is on by default; the licence check stays on because the product needs it. From version 0.4.3 you can switch off usage counts and crash reports with npx -y llmgraph-mcp telemetry off, and back on with npx -y llmgraph-mcp telemetry on. A report already being sent when you switch off may still arrive. You agree to the licence check when you approve your first device; usage counts and crash reports stay on until you switch them off. You can see what is queued or sent with npx -y llmgraph-mcp telemetry show. The Software keeps an encrypted index in your user cache folder, and a telemetry file under ~/.llmgraph/telemetry/ that holds what was queued or sent in the last 30 days.

7. Third-party components

The Software includes open-source components under their own licences, listed in the notices file shipped with it and on the third-party notices page. Those licences apply to those components, and nothing here limits them.

8. Microsoft Distributable Code

The Windows build of the Software includes Microsoft Distributable Code: the Microsoft Visual C++ runtime that ships with the CPython Windows build. For those files you agree that:

  • you will not alter any Microsoft copyright, trademark or patent notice in them;
  • you will not use Microsoft's trademarks to suggest that Microsoft endorses the Software;
  • you will not distribute them to run on a platform other than Microsoft operating systems;
  • you will not include them in malicious, deceptive or unlawful programs;
  • Microsoft and its suppliers keep all rights in them that are not expressly granted.

These terms protect that code at least as much as Microsoft's own requirements.

9. Ending the licence

  • The licence ends when your trial or subscription ends. A cancelled subscription keeps access to the end of the paid period.
  • It also ends if you delete your account. If you break these terms, we may suspend or end the licence as section 13 of the Terms of Service describes, and where we can we will give you notice by email first.
  • When it ends, the Software stops answering after its current licence runs out, which is at most 6 hours. You may remove the Software and its local index; npx -y llmgraph-mcp repos --remove removes a saved index.

10. No warranty; limit of liability

The Software is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for all claims connected with the Software is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim arose, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss. Nothing in this licence limits or excludes liability for fraud, gross negligence or wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or anything else that the law does not allow to be limited or excluded, and nothing limits your rights under local consumer law. Dodo Payments is the seller of record and has its own buyer terms.

11. Changes, law, contact

  • We may update this licence. The date at the top shows the latest version. For a material change we will give at least 30 days' notice by email or in the program.
  • You may not use or export the Software in breach of sanctions or export laws that apply to you.
  • This licence is governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Jaipur, Rajasthan have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any consumer rights the law of your country does not allow to be waived.
